It’s been a very exciting month for the Moonbeam community! We have lots of news and updates to share with you, including new information about the Moonbeam crowdloan, Sushi and Etherscan integrations on Moonriver, new projects building on Moonbeam, and more.
What’s New with Moonbeam & Moonriver
The Moonbeam Crowdloan: Allocation & Rewards Details Now Available
The Moonbeam community is buzzing about the Polkadot slot auctions, which will be kicking off on November 11th! The Moonbeam Foundation recently released the details of the Moonbeam crowdloan including rewards, how to participate, and participation requirements. Pre-registration for the Moonbeam crowdloan is open. The Moonbeam crowdloan will help Moonbeam launch on the Polkadot network, bringing 70+ projects and integrations to the Polkadot ecosystem for the first time.

Highlighted Integrations: Sushi and Etherscan
Sushi
Big news! Sushi has already integrated with Moonriver and is kicking off new liquidity programs on November 1st! Incentivized pairs will be whitelisted for farming on Moonriver. Sushi has 25K MOVR and 2.5M GLMR for the initial rollout, which will be used for liquidity mining and an ecosystem grant for Moonriver and Moonbeam. Initial pairs on Moonriver include WETH/WBTC, WETH/USDT, MOVR/MIM, WETH/MOVR, and more! For more information, check out Sushi’s latest announcement. Learn how to use Sushi’s integration on Moonriver.
Etherscan
The most widely-used EVM compatible block explorer, has integrated with Moonriver and soon will integrate with Moonbeam (once the network is launched). Now, users and developers will have access to developer tools and network statistics that provide granular insights into the EVM of Moonriver and Moonbeam. New Partners & Projects Building on Moonbeam
The Moonriver ecosystem has been booming, with dozens of deployments being onboarded each month. Here are some of this month’s additions that we want to highlight:
Live Deployments on Moonriver
AMMs/DEXs:
Moonlit Finance: Moonlit will widen the accessibility of private-sale tokens. Users will be able to enjoy Kusama and Polkadot’s low gas fee and high performance, while more DeFi liquidity will be encouraged to flow into future-unlocked tokens and other private-sale tokens.
APIs & Tools:
The Graph: The indexing and query layer of the decentralized web. Moonriver’s developer-focused community helps make the blockchain more compatible, fulfilling one of the most commonly requested integrations in the Moonriver community.
SubQuery: SubQuery’s partnership with Moonbeam provides a unified API that has visibility across the substrate and EVM layers of Moonbeam. Allowing developers to access all information on the platform through a unified API.
Assets:
Ocean Protocol: Users of Ocean Market can now publish, swap, stake, and consume data assets in Moonriver. Data marketplace builders and other dApp developers can use Ocean libraries (ocean.js, ocean.py) and frontend components (market) with Moonriver.
Bridges:
Relay Chain: Moonriver has added a new bridge! Relay Chain allows users to transfer Moonriver and other assets including Polygon, Avalanche, Fantom, and Shiden.
Oracles:
Band Protocol: Band Protocol’s price oracle infrastructure provides secure and permissionless data feeds for various developments that will exist on DeFi protocols deploying on the Moonriver ecosystem.
DIA: An open-source financial information platform that uses cryptoeconomics to source and validate data. This integration will enable DApps to directly communicate with trusted data before deploying on Moonbeam, as well as enabling new parachain specific use cases
Storage & Scalability:
Protofire (Gnosis Safe): This deployment will help to improve transaction security, achieve network interoperability, and enable decentralized gasless voting while increasing user adoption.
Crust: This integration brings highly practical, powerful, and handy IPFS-based decentralized storage solutions to the Moonriver and Kusama communities.
Deployments Coming Soon to Moonbeam & Moonriver
KYVE: A decentralized archiving and caching solution to store and serve data reliably. This will allow Moonbeam’s community of developers to easily store their data permanently on Arweave, enabling higher scalability.
Zenlink: A unified and universal cross-chain DEX protocol that enables parachains to have DEX functionality and share liquidity with other parachains. Zenlink will be able to connect all DEX dApps on Polkadot including Moonbeam!
Chainlink: This integration brings Chainlink’s market-leading oracle functionality to Moonbeam, enabling developers to build smart contracts using any external data resource—all without leaving the Polkadot ecosystem.
Blocsport: A smart sports blockchain solutions provider that is going to deploy their sports NFTs on Moonriver to unify DeFi activities and NFTs.

Keithbm | Bulgarian Moonbeam Community
I helped develop new channels in which Bulgarian-speakers could interact and learn more about Moonbeam and Moonriver. This effort attracted new Bulgarian-speaker ambassadors to collaborate with the community and we created new channels to share translations of technical and non-technical content that the Moonbeam team created. Bulgaria is not a very crypto-friendly country, which is why expanding this community has become a huge achievement for me!

This month, Derek Yoo, Moonbeam Founder, led a discussion on how Moonbeam has been able to attract such a concentration of DeFi projects called “Bootstrapping the Interoperable Ecosystem on Polkadot.”
