It’s the summer of connected applications! July has been a whirlwind of new initiatives. Including impactful integrations like Axelar and Osmosis, more connected contracts, a new campaign, and so much more!
Connected Contracts
The next generation of Web3 applications are currently being built on Moonbeam as connected smart contracts. Connected contracts create a superior experience by allowing users to tap into assets and functionality from multiple blockchains within a single cross-chain connected DApp, without having to bridge assets over. By unifying access to assets, data, and other functionalities, Moonbeam is removing the constraints of isolated applications and making it easy to tap into functionality across Ethereum, Polkadot, Cosmos, Avalanche, and beyond. Introduction to Cosmos
Arrington Capital has granted the Moonbeam Foundation a $100 million ecosystem fund to support new projects looking to develop and scale multi-chain applications.
ZKValidator Education Program
ZKValidator, a mission-driven validator, has a new event series: Privacy on Moonbeam. The series will focus on best practices for developers and new privacy tools during an online workshop and in-person hackshop where teams can submit their tools.

Highlighted Integrations
Osmosis: Axelar’s cross-chain infrastructure provides the secure transport layer to make liquidity from Polkadot available on Osmosis, and Cosmos, enabling Cosmos tokens to flow to Moonbeam.
Project Galaxy: This protocol powers on-chain credentials with plug-and-play NFT modules, which allows builders to create, distribute, and gamify NFTs with customized on-chain data.
Moonbeam & Moonriver
Speedboat: A no-code Web3 toolkit that allows developers to deploy customized smart contracts, automate tasks, and launch dApps without having to write any code.
PNS: Polkadot Name System has built a DID infrastructure to replace long wallet addresses with human-readable names in Web3. Sayonara to long wallet addresses! 8-digit domains are now open for registration.
Moonbeam
Dam Finance: Dam is one of the teams building a new cross-chain connected lending & borrowing application on Moonbeam. dPrime Asset Modules (DAM) create purchasing power for the broadest range of blockchain-secured assets through dPRIME, a Dotsama stablecoin on Moonbeam.
Rubic: Rubic is a cross-chain aggregator, which allows you to swap any of over 15,500+ assets on and between 13 blockchains, including Ethereum, BNB Chain, Polygon, Avalanche, Phantom, Moonbeam, and more.

Ambassador of the Month
Let’s celebrate the outstanding contributions and talent from our ambassador community.

Hello from Sumy, Ukraine! I initially found Moonbeam through Polkadot last year. Moonbeam was the one project that immediately caught my attention; I could see the potential in the project and found its mission beneficial for Web3 development. I also appreciated how Moonbeam interacts with the community, developers, and other projects.
After joining the ambassador program in July 2021, I quickly began working with ambassadors to conduct translations. Since then, I have worked with the community blog, Instagram team, and campaign contest activities.
So far, I would say that my biggest accomplishment has been becoming the Ambassador of the Month. To people who are looking to join the Moonbeam Community, do it! The community has a fantastic atmosphere and does a great job promoting the project. Everyone is on board with the ultimate goal to build the future of Web3, together.
