Lots of excitement for the Moonbeam ecosystem this month. We are thrilled to announce that the Moonriver network has now entered phase 3 of its five phases launch process. What’s New with Moonbeam & Moonriver
Moonriver Network Enters Phase Three of its Launch Process to Kusama
The Moonbeam team announced the completion of the second phase of its launch process to Kusama. During Phase Two, the network-enabled on-chain governance, in addition to making several technology-related updates.
The Moonriver Network is now on phase three of its five-phase launch process to Kusama. During this phase, Sudo (the superuser key) will be removed, and the network control will be handed over to token holders. The removal of the Sudo demonstrates the confidence that the network is running well. To learn more about the future Moonriver launch steps, visit this site.

New Partners & Projects Building on Moonbeam
Ethworks
The Moonbeam Team has completed integrations with Waffle and Mars, two popular Ethereum-based developer tools created by Ethworks. The addition of these tools to Moonbeam’s already-lengthy list of developer integrations will make it even easier to create, test, compile, and deploy new projects to the Polkadot and Kusama ecosystems.
myNFT
The Moonbeam Team announced a partnership with myNFT, the upcoming NFT creative workshop, trading platform, and discovery engine poised to become one of Polkadot’s flagship NFT platforms. NFT creators and owners will be able to freely move and sell their digital assets across chains, including Ethereum, Moonriver, and the emerging NFT ecosystem on Kusama.
Jambb | Non-Fungible Jokin’
Jambb, an NFT marketplace for entertainment media, is celebrating its official launch with Non-Fungible Jokin’, a two-night, first-of-its-kind comedy show where nearly every part of the event will be minted as an NFT and auctioned off for fans to own and resell. Moonriver is the sponsor of the event, and the event NFTs will be on Moonriver, where buyers can choose to rent out the content through Jambb’s galleries and share what they have purchased with the world.
FireFly
The Firefly engineering team will collaborate with the Moonbeam team to deploy Firefly on Moonbeam’s smart contract and runtime pallets. By leveraging the technical innovations on Moonbeam, Firefly will offer traders a fast and easy user experience and an increased scope of products. Traders will be able to use familiar tooling, collateralize multiple Moonbeam-native assets for opening trades on Firesly, and trade with high performance with the shared security of Polkadot.
