Carbify: Every tree we plant in the Amazon gets verified by local workers who geo-tag the location, upload images, and log biometric data. This is synced directly into NFT metadata, transforming a simple token into a living data vault.

These NFTs are more than digital art. They represent jobs for locals, carbon capture in real-time, and biological diversity. The images? We've seen lush saplings bursting through the forest floor, surrounded by the hands that planted them, smiles from the people who are finally being paid to restore, not destroy.

MB: How does your real-time satellite tracking technology work, and why is that transparency important?

Carbify: We track forest growth using real-time satellite technology, combined with NDVI analysis to monitor vegetation health and detect illegal deforestation. This isn't just tech for tech’s sake, it's how we protect what we plant and provide radical transparency to everyone involved.

In Brazil’s vast and often unmonitored forest frontiers, this tech gives locals a shield and donors a window into what’s really happening. Because true climate action starts with proof.

MB: What do you think the Web3 space still gets wrong about environmental impact—and what are the biggest misconceptions?

Too often, the Web3 world throws money at offsetting, but forgets to ask: did it actually help? The Amazon doesn’t need more paper offsets. It needs verified regeneration, rooted in the ground and linked to communities.

The biggest misconception? That carbon credits alone are enough. At Carbify, we issue Carbon Debits. Measured only after carbon is truly absorbed. We tie every debit to GPS data, photographic proof, and growth metrics, then register it on-chain via a blockchain native registry.
